About this deal

We pride ourselves on publishing commercial fiction with strong narratives and compelling storylines – focusing on a wide range of crime, thrillers, saga, women’s and reading group fiction.

The Mother — T.M.Logan

Ten years ago she was imprisoned for the murder of her husband, something she denies and can't remember. She knows she’s not allowed to see them but sneaks a quick look at them before heading to the hostel. They tell their son Connor that he can go out with friends to celebrate completing his exams, but he must be home by midnight.

This thriller has it all: a darkly charismatic detective, a pair of merciless killers and a propulsive plot that builds towards a devastating finale. Nail-biting storytelling and brilliantly engaging characters, I always enjoy a TM Logan thriller, and this is definitely one of my favourites.

A TV adaptation starring BAFTA-winner Jason Watkins featured on Channel 5 in January and February 2023, and is currently available on My5 (TV trailer lower down this page). After spending ten years behind bars for a murder she did not commit, Heather is determined to find out who killed her husband. This was an unusual thriller featuring Heather, a mum who has just been released on probation from prison after serving time for the murder of her husband and who has come out vowing to clear her name and find the true perpetrator.Alone and with only a couple of people willing to help her, Heather soon begins to wonder if she can trust the help around her and asks herself if she is better off going it alone. There's so much I could tell you about this book, but I can't as it would spoil the book for potential readers.
