The act of betrayal by a member of the twelve disciples is not found in the earliest Christian writings.
I found it hard to relate to the characters at times, both in their situations and their decisions, but still found myself invested in their fortunes and rooting for them or resenting them.Intriguingly, Judas Iscariot is the only one of the apostles whom the Bible (potentially) identifies by his town of origin.
