I think the only fault I find with this book is that the same touchy-feely materials have all been used before and in pretty much the same context. They look like they've been designed by a graphic artist to appeal to children, they stumble around in zoos like enormous furry toddlers, and they're even vegetarian so no other favourite animals are in danger. Personal favourites include a dinosaur, penguin, mermaid, train, meerkat, prince and panda, but now that Usborne have released the 50th book in the series (! Having joined Usborne in 1989, Fiona became an editorial director in 2003, largely responsible for writing baby and novelty books, as well as art and activity titles.Aside from that, the stuff feels great, the colours are great, and it felt educational to me, even if the toddlers don't agree!

Aria pushed the Owl book off her lap today and wanted this one back, and she is only seven months old. There's a particularly rewarding set of textured fabrics here, although some of them I have seen before. Ask any parent that has had a baby since 1999 and they will tell you all about the Usborne ‘That’s Not My.
I would have liked to have seen a bit more differentiation between the pandas on each page visually (otherwise how will I know which one is my panda? Each book introduces our little ones to a new animal, vehicle or character, with bright illustrations, simple, repetitive storylines and lots of touchy-feely textures to get babies and toddlers engaging with books from a young age.
