In LEGO Star Wars, Landspeeders have always been dark orange/red thanks to Luke’s Landspeeder, but this blue variant is a great alternative, and yet another great use of an Advent Calendar window to spotlight a fairly obscure vehicle from The Mandalorian! Lego have really cheaped out; sparce mini figs; no named characters; none of the female characters; accessories not included with the mini figs; three weapons racks (only the third one looking any good; those rubbish targets; even festive grogu feels a bit naff to me – could have been packaged with another mini fig. It’s a really strong model, and something that fits in really well with the Stormtrooper minifigure.

I don’t believe we’ve had minifigure-scale vehicles in Advent Calendars (that aren’t Sleds), so this is a a big step forward for Advent Calendar playability.

Also, I’m on the US west coast, and I kind of like the 19 hour time difference because I’m so bored lately I’ve opened advent windows at the stroke of midnight.

Stormtroopers have incredibly terrible aim, so these large red targets help then improve their shooting skills, and while simple, and have really no in-universe tie-in to Star Wars, make for a fun interactive feature in the Star Wars Advent Calendar.All reviews, thoughts and reactions are live as we go along, there are no pre-planned photos or thoughts, unless I happen to be travelling or away from home. Given Disney’s recent falling out with Gina Carano, many weren’t likely expecting to see Cara Dune, but there were other options like Fennec Shand and Bo-Katan. The set features 8 LEGO® Star Wars™ characters, including Emperor Palpatine, an Ewok and a Pit Droid in holiday outfits, a Gonk Droid dressed as a reindeer and Omega with a sled.
